This UK act had its heyday in the early 1990s, alongside other Brit house-dance outfits like EMF and East 17. As soon as you hear Rob B's lethargic English-accented rap, you're taken back to that time. Which makes you realise how far forward dance music has moved - and also that the Stereo MCs haven't really moved with it. Double Bubble sounds seriously dated, a huge problem in a genre like dance music. Kids won't listen to it because it sounds "old", and original fans have probably moved on too.
