It's Triple Double Trouble

ST George Illawarra players won't need a head knock to see double this season.
The red and whites boast no less than three sets of identical twins. In the top flight, the Dragons have outside backs Josh and Brett Morris, while in the under 20s they have halves Maurice and John Kennedy and forwards Josh and Rhys Cochrane.During last weekend's 40-30 NRL trial win over the Bulldogs the Morris brothers showed what they can do together.Brett, making his long-awaited return from a shoulder injury, laid on a great try for his brother with a fine chip in-field under pressure.Of course, working out which twin is which can be tricky."I went to primary school with a lot of twins and high school with a lot of twins so I'm used to it," Brett said."Last year we used to have wristbands that we used to wear - I used to have a blue one, Josh used to have a red one."Just until recently we were doing the haircuts - Josh had his hair short and I had mine real long. "Now I've shaved it and I think I've just got to shave his, give him a mohawk or something so they can tell us apart."Like Kiama's Morris twins, the Kennedys and the Cochranes have ways of helping their team-mates with identification."Maurie put that bit of dye in his hair for me and him and out of the (Cochrane) twins, Rhys got operated on his legs so he's got scars on his legs," John Kennedy explained. The Kennedys starred in the red and whites' 30-22 under 20 trial win over the Dogs last weekend.Pivot Maurice set up an early try for halfback John with a good grubber, before John returned the favour, setting up a similar four-pointer for Maurice soon after."People say that we know each other's games inside out because we've played together all our lives," Maurice said."I can read what he's gonna do and he can read what I'm gonna do."
